What it is. Guerilla Science programming at FIGMENT, the free participatory arts festival, produced during the 2017–2018 Guerilla Science tenure alongside the NSF artist-scientist residency.
The role. Event producer. Same shape as the rest of the festival work: take science content and a residency cohort’s pieces and make them function on a participatory festival floor for a general audience that did not come for the science. Production, logistics, and on-site support.
Why it’s here. FIGMENT is one of the recurring festival venues for the Guerilla Science model — participatory, free, audience-built — and part of the documented record of this period’s production work.
